Ensuring the District's Continued Success

We moved to the Sartell-St.Stephen School District 19 years ago because of the excellent schools. We have been happy with that choice ever since. I have appreciated how committed school staff are to making meaningful connections that promote growth and a love of learning in students. I  want to make sure that our students and teachers have the resources they need to maintain this cornerstone of our community.

Promote a Collaborative Environment for all Voices to be Heard

My job requires that I be open-minded and level headed.  I consider the needs of an individual while working within a broader system.  If elected I will bring these collaborative, solution based skills to my role on the school board. I will vote independently after listening to community members, the incredibly qualified educators and our students when considering issues and concerns.​​

Careful Stewardship of Our Tax Dollars

We have added a new high school and improved all of our schools in the last several years. It has been expensive, but we made a wise investment in our kids. As a government employee, I am mindful that we are responsible to the taxpayers and must spend their tax dollars wisely. I am always aware of that responsibility in my job and will bring that attention and awareness to my role on the school board.
